Registration Status

A version of the Labicana Max with a golf bag carrier for getting around quickly and easily on the golf course. Much more fun and easier to get around in than a golf cart. You can even legally ride the scooter to the golf course on public roads. Large wheels make it easy to navigate rough terrain and help to prevent damage to the grass.

Electrically powered, with a top speed of 28mph, this is the perfect vehicle for getting about cheaply and easily. A real-world 20-mile range and only 40p to charge from empty.

A two-person seat and pillion pegs make it easy to take a passenger.

Fully equipped with the features that make your life comfortable. Front and rear suspension, front and rear lights, mirrors, indicators, horn, speedometer and battery indicator.

The lockable battery is fully removable, so it can be charged in your home whilst leaving the scooter outside (very convenient if you don't have outside power outlets).

The scooter is well protected, with a key required to start or access the battery or storage space. It also has an alarm, which can be armed and disarmed by the included key fob, as well as a steering lock.

This is exactly the same as the Labicana Max, other than a colour LCD display and the golf bag carrier at the rear.

You can find the manual here.

Registration Status

Preregistered - We have already registered the scooter with the DVLA for you, road legal straight away, includes numberplate.

Unregistered - Not registered with the DVLA. Legal to use on private land with the landowners permission, but not on public roads. Includes the Certificate of Conformity and the scooter has a VIN, so you could chose to register it yourself. We even have a tool to generate the paperwork you need to send to the DVLA.

Great Scooter!

Use this on the golf course, but have it with numberplates so can pop down there on th roads. Nice fast acceleration, although low top speed so you don't want to be going on any fast roads with it. No problems at all on the course, handles hills and rough terrain great. Nice wide wheels don't damage the grass either.

Delivery was prompt and easy, they helped me out with a couple of questions I had as well.

  • Riding Legally

You can ride the scooter legally on private land with the landowner's permission without any restrictions. However if you would like to ride it on public roads you need it to be registered, insured and licensed (road tax is free).

You can purchase the scooter from us preregistered or you can buy it unregistered and register it yourself. We also have a page on insurance providers we have had good experiences with.

If you have a driving license from before 2001, you likely don't need any other license to ride the scooter.

If you have a post 2001 driving license you need to complete a CBT (short one-day training costing roughly £80), but can then ride the scooter without learner plates and with a passenger. You don't need to retake the CBT unless you lose your driving license.

If you don't have a driving license you need to get a CBT or get a moped license. If riding on a CBT license, you cannot carry a passenger, must use learner plates and must repeat the CBT every two years.
