Electrically powered, with a top speed of 28mph, this is the perfect vehicle for getting about cheaply and easily. A real-world 20-mile range and only 40p to charge from empty. A two-person seat and pillion pegs make it easy to take a passenger.
Fully equipped with the features that make your life comfortable. Front and rear suspension, front and rear lights, mirrors, indicators, horn, speedometer and battery indicator.
The lockable battery is fully removable, so it can be charged in your home whilst leaving the scooter outside (very convenient if you don't have outside power outlets).
The scooter is well protected, with a key required to start or access the battery or storage space. It also has an alarm, which can be armed and disarmed by the included key fob, as well as a steering lock.
There is a storage space beneath the scooter's base and also under the seat (which can house an additional battery). The additional battery doubles the range of the scooter to 40 miles.
The Max requires some limited assembly (attaching handlebars and display). You can find more info on the steps required in the manual.

I have now started to get used to the bike, I have had some difficulty as the riding style is somewhat different to a normal motorcycle.
I can say that once it tune with the bike it's great fun and looks the part.
I have made some minor adaptations for my convenience, the battery box/tool box under the seat was not big enough to house two batteries (I brought the extra battery for longer range). I also added a shopping trolley (whèels/axle removed) to the rear frame so I can carry my shopping. I have found that the foot /running board storage compartment is no good for storage as it is mainly filled with electric items/cabling and alarm system, I'm unsure if this compartment is water proof as the lid doesn't seem to seal well. Otherwise very pleased with the bike.
Happy nice product
Like was helpful and delivered bang on time. So easy to put together and I love it. Only 2 miles to work so saved fuel and, because it’s nippy, actually quicker. Broken part in transport was very soon replaced and alls well. Glad I took the plunge
Hi Luke, I have made my own golf bag carrier and fitted to scooter out of bits from an old golf trolley and a bit of sheet metal, as it’s not necessary to able to see the lights at the back on the golf course it enabled me to put it at a lower level which I prefer. The scooter runs very well over the ground, but can be a bit difficult to park on slopping ground , I would suggest a double legged stand might be an improvement .
I have had many admiring comments from fellow golfers.
Ordered Labicana Max electric scooter from #fatwheelscoot and spoke with Luke who was polite and informative about the product.
Scooter arrived with the transport cage damaged bit scooter was intact apart from 2 broken indicators.Luke apologised and sent the new indicators in the post, which rectified the situation. The scooter is as described and fun to ride around the town even pulling well up the long ascents of Whitby.
Me ham insurance is the only company I could get insurance through and it cost £220 annually fully comp which really I could have fire and theft but it’s done now.
Overall very satisfied with the scooter and the crusty service from Luke and would definitely recommend this company if your on the mat for a electric scooter at a great price.
Hi Neil, thanks for your review and again apologies for the shipping damage.
The shipping companies can be a bit rough, and the indicators in particular seem to be a bit vulnerable. We are working on it though, our new stock coming in has the toughest boxes we can get hold of and a stronger versions of the metal frame.
Anyway we are glad we managed to get things sorted for you (we've got plenty of spare parts for just this sort of issue). Enjoy your Max riding around Whitby!

Riding Legally
You can ride the scooter legally on private land with the landowner's permission without any restrictions. However if you would like to ride it on public roads you need it to be registered, insured and taxed (and you need to be licensed).
You can purchase the scooter from us preregistered or you can buy it unregistered and register it yourself. We also have a page on insurance providers we have had good experiences with. Road tax is £26 per year
If you have a full UK driving license which you first got before 2001 you don't need any other license to ride the scooter. Otherwise, you must take a CBT course (short one-day training/test combined).
If you take the CBT and also have a full UK driving license, you do not need to retake the CBT whilst you still hold the driving license, you don't need learner plates and you can carry a passenger.
If you just have a CBT (and no driving license), you cannot carry a passenger and must use learner plates. You must also repeat the CBT every two years.
