My chopper was here within a week, took me a couple of hours (I'm no mechanic or bike expert 😂) to put together and when taxed and insured
it was ready to cruise. Certainly one of the best things I've ever brought, fun to ride, turns heads and loads of compliments from the locals. Easy to ride, maintenance is a learning curb (again I'm no expert 😂) but the guys at fat wheel scoot are very helpful if you need any help/queries.
Luke delivered the Chopper In person and even offered to assemble It. The E Chopper is everything I expected and more. Can't wait for the registration to come through, so I can take to the road with It. If you're ln the market for one of these bikes, this really is the go to company. Luke even helped with filling out the registration form & offers full support.
5* 10/10.
Luke at fatwheelscoot was brilliant helped with all my answers before I bought the chop, it was brought up and built he was a great help. Even after sales he jept up asking if all was good, and if there's anything I need call or message anytime for assistance. Plus the dvla no hassle it's all done with number plate, etc, the 2000w we got just now, and Luke has looked into getting me the 3000w or 4000w in the future, I will go back because the price is fair and not over priced like other companies. I done my head in looking for the right scoot and fatwheel is the best all round. A huge thanks Luke top man
Being honest I was nervous once I placed the order as it seems a small company, but Luke at Fatwheel has shown what customer service is!
Any question, any issue or concern or help I need is covered and with a great positive attitude.
I don't normally do reviews but can't recommend Fat Wheel Scoot enough!

Riding Legally
You can ride the scooter legally on private land with the landowner's permission without any restrictions. However if you would like to ride it on public roads you need it to be registered, insured and taxed (and you need to be licensed).
You can purchase the scooter from us preregistered or you can buy it unregistered and register it yourself. We also have a page on insurance providers we have had good experiences with. Road tax is £26 per year
If you have a full UK driving license which you first got before 2001 you don't need any other license to ride the scooter. Otherwise, you must take a CBT course (short one-day training/test combined).
If you take the CBT and also have a full UK driving license, you do not need to retake the CBT whilst you still hold the driving license, you don't need learner plates and you can carry a passenger.
If you just have a CBT (and no driving license), you cannot carry a passenger and must use learner plates. You must also repeat the CBT every two years.
